2nd Annual Race Poster Contest, which one is your favorite?
Voting for this year’s 26.2 with Donna Official Race Poster is closed. The winning design will be announced in our November newsletter, and available to purchase as a beautiful way to support the cause.
Running as One
Jamie Stanish presents a concept that represents all marathoners and half marathoners, running as one, for a great cause. People with different backgrounds, faiths, beliefs, and diverse running capabilities all run together with one goal in mind: to finish breast cancer. This idea is demonstrated visually through the use of collage elements in the background which show through the silhouette of a strong runner with a purpose.
Sneaker Prints in the Sand
Artist Karen Kurycki proposes ‘sneaker prints in the sand’ to represent our portion of the course on the hard packed beaches of Jacksonville. She kept the art on the feminine side with the watercolor/pinks/reds but also a little gritty to represent the “fight” for breast cancer and to represent the grueling 26.2 miles you will be running.
Beach Ribbon
Artist of last year’s Inaugural Race Poster Kurtis Loftus presents three concepts that tie in to the original creative from the inaugural poster. Kurtis hoped to showcase the beauty of the area, but keep the running effort in the forefront. The artwork incorporates the pink ribbon symbol in to the design.
