Kurtis Loftus writes a blog and takes pictures and video each week of the Jacksonville Galloway Training Program training for the full and half marathon events. He produces a painting each week that he sells to raise money for the Donna Hicken Foundation.

We’re proud to tell you that Kurtis just received a Gold Medal award from the Advertising and Marketing Industry for the paintings he created on behalf of the Donna Hicken Foundation. He is also the artist of the Inaugural and 2009 Official Race Poster.
Way to go Kurtis!

26.2 on First Coast News

On Thursday, June 22, 2006 the Mayo Clinic and The Donna Hicken Foundation announced the inaugural run of the 26.2 with Donna: The National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer, benefiting Mayo Clinic and women living with breast cancer. The weekend-long event, which will be held February 15-17, 2008 in Jacksonville Beach, will include a health expo, community celebration event, VIP event, marathon and half marathon. Follow Donna's Running journal including weekly videos on the First Coastal News web site.
