Winn-Dixie Runners' Village
Gear Check Sponsored by Genentech
Before the race, all participants may check in their warm up/post-race gear at the Winn-Dixie Runners’ Village Gear Check Tent sponsored by Genentech. Securely fasten your gear check tag from your race bib to the outside of your bag. After the race, you will have until 2 p.m. to collect your bag. Any items not picked up will be kept for 30 days and then discarded. To retrieve items left after the marathon, please email info@ breastcancermarathon.com or call 904-355-PINK (7465).
Food, Beverages and More
Pre- and post race food and beverages will be available. Runners are encouraged to visit the Winn-Dixie Fruit Tent for complimentary bananas and oranges. Complimentary Winn-Dixie muffins and Panera Bread Soup will be available for runners. Runners will also have the convenience of visiting information, sponsor and marketing booths located inside Winn- Dixie Runners’ Village before and after the race. Portable restrooms will be available throughout the Winn-Dixie Runners’ Village.
110% Massage Therapy Tent
110% will offer courtesy massage treatments inside the Winn-Dixie Runners’ Village. Feel free to take advantage of the complimentary treatments post race.
Medical Support
Medical support will be available and ready to assist you in several different locations. Medical staff will be wearing bright RED medical team t-shirts. Their support includes first aid and ice bags. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and the Jacksonville Beach Fire and Rescue Department will provide medical support on bike teams and MERV units along the race route.
Note: You MUST provide medical and emergency contact information on the back of your running number.

Family Reunite Area/Post Race Celebration Area
The Family Reunite Area is open to the public. Plan to reunite with family or fellow runners at the Family Reunite Area. Alphabetically posted signs will divide the Family Reunite Area and allow friends and family members to establish an exact meeting place after the race. Discuss this area with friends and family prior to the race. Remember, it may take the marathon participant 30-45 minutes to make it through the finish area, pick up gear and get to the Family Reunite Area. Be sure to plan accordingly.
The Post Race Celebration is located inside the Family Reunite Area across from the Winn-Dixie Runners’ Village and is open to participants as well as their friends and family. Runners will be provided with two complimentary beverages, while other food and beverages will be available for sale. The Post Race Celebration will feature a jumbotron with real time race results, sampling by Mellow Mushroom, Hydrive and Barefoot Champagne. Keep warm in the Landstar Warm Up Tent with complimentary coffee and tea will be provided by Coffee Perks and bagels from Panera Bread. Make sure to visit the Jet Blue Snack Tent for free munchies. Bring your laptop and keep track of the race through free wireless internet service provided by Clear.
Awards
Top finisher awards provided by Tiffany & Co. will be presented to the winners of the Full and Half Marathon events at Noon. The top Breast Cancer Survivor finisher of the Full Marathon event will also be honored. Age group winners will be posted, and 26.2 with Donna Top Finisher Patches will be available for pick-up at the results tent. Be sure to stick around for the Post Race Celebration Concert with Sister Hazel at 12:45 p.m.
Lost and Found
For lost items, please visit the information booth in the Post Race Celebration Area. However, articles of clothing left along the race route are left at the owner’s expense and will NOT be taken to lost and found. All clothing left along the race route will be donated to local shelters. Lost and found items will be kept for 30 days after the marathon and can be collected by emailing or calling (904) 355-PINK (7465).
Transportation
If you are staying or live near any of the shuttle locations, please take advantage of our free shuttle busses to the start. There will be no race day parking on San Pablo Road, at the start line or near the Mayo Campus. Busses will depart to the marathon and half-marathon starting line at Mayo Clinic on Sunday morning from many convenient locations. Read more for shuttle locations and times.
