New Start to a Great Finish
The official race start of the 6th Annual 26.2 with Donna has moved to ATP Tour Blvd. in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida – home of the parking venues for THE PLAYERS Championship. The official race finish, and all of the famous runner amenities including Publix Runners’ Village, will remain at Mayo Clinic.
The new start will necessitate a new course! The course will now guide runners and walkers through four beautiful beach communities on historic coastal A1A, over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge (just once!) on Butler Blvd. to finish the race, and breast cancer, at Mayo Clinic. Our famous First Florida Credit Union Bridge Brigade will again come alive at mile 25 (or 12 for the Half Marathon) to carry you over the bridge to the finish.
This race is a Boston Qualifier. The marathon USATF certification number is FL12084EBM and the half-marathon USATF certification number is FL12083EBM. 26.2 with Donna has ranked one of the fastest in the state of Florida, and has consistently ranked in the top 10 fastest marathon times by Floridians since the inaugural year in 2008 as reported by USATF.
The breast cancer marathon course will be open for 7 hours, allowing for a 16-minute per mile marathon or 32-minute per mile half-marathon pace. The course is beginner friendly and one of the few marathons in the country with Galloway Pace Groups.
Water, fuel and aid stations will be positioned along the race course.

Water stations providing Athena, the Official Water of 26.2 with Donna, will be available approximately every mile. Odd mile water stations will provide Gatorade.
GU, our official fuel partner, will be available starting at mile 5, every 3 miles. Medical aid stations will be available every 3 miles.
Portable restrooms will be available at many locations all over the course. Never fear, restrooms are near. Green portolets that use non-toxic deodorizer and recycled toilet paper and hand sanitizer instead of paper towels.

6TH ANNUAL RACE COURSE MAP
The Celgene Start Line
When you pick up your race number, courtesy of Amgen Breakaway from Cancer, at our Health & Fitness Expo presented by Eisai Friday or Saturday, you will notice a background color amidst the beautiful pink hues of our design this year. You will receive a yellow, blue, green or orange bib. This is your “Corral Assignment.” What is this you say? When we line up race morning to start the race, we will want the faster runners up front, and the slower runners and walkers to the back. This will help everyone finish breast cancer at a steady pace. The start line area will consist of structured corrals (yeah, like cattle), each organized by color starting with the yellow corral, and ending with the orange corral. Enter the corral that matches the color on your bib number!
So how is your corral assignment made?
The assignment is based on the estimated finish time you provided when you registered for 26.2 with Donna. All participants are welcome to change corrals to a slower corral race morning. However, you will not be permitted to move to a faster corral. We are unable to accommodate change requests at this time. Have a question? Come see us at the Runner Relations desk at the Health & Fitness Expo.
