We welcome runners and walkers of all levels to experience a behind-the-scenes 5K route through THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.
Registration Includes:
• Pink, gender-fitted race shirt
• Post-party race inside Stadium Village with music, food, beverage and a chance at the PwC First Tee Challenge
• One Grounds Ticket to THE PLAYERS Championship, Sunday, May 13, with FREE admission to the ‘5K with Donna Courtyard’, to all participants wearing their official race t-shirt
• Chip-timed race with age group awards presented to the top finishers
100% of net proceeds and raised funds will go towards breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and care through The Donna Foundation.

Birdies for Charity
New this year, registration for THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna will be a donation to the 26.2 with Donna Birdies for Charity campaign. Don’t worry! One hundred percent (100%) of your race proceeds still go to breast cancer research and care. This simply adds more fun and more dollars for 26.2 with Donna!
Birdies for Charity is a unique, community-based fundraising initiative held in conjunction with THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass, May 7-13, 2012. With your entry, you have the option to guess the total number of birdies that will be made during the competition rounds of the tournament. The individual making the correct or closest guess will win $5,000! If you choose correctly, 26.2 with Donna will also receive an additional $5,000 from THE PLAYERS Championship.

THE PLAYERS Grounds Ticket and Pink Out!
Registration for this event also includes a Grounds Ticket to attend THE PLAYERS on Championship Sunday, May 13, 2012. THE PLAYERS will be hosting a Pink Out on Championship Sunday in support of the 26.2 with Donna Foundation. One dollar ($1) will be donated to 26.2 with Donna for every attendee up to 50,000. At 50,000 attendees, THE PLAYERS will donate $100,000 to the 26.2 with Donna Foundation.
Anyone attending THE PLAYERS wearing the official 5K participant t-shirt will be admitted free to the “5K with Donna Courtyard” located behind the Par 5, 16th hole to enjoy the company and camaraderie of fellow participants. Food and beverage will be available for purchase with 26.2% of proceeds donated back to the 26.2 with Donna Foundation.
All Parking at THE PLAYERS Championship will be onsite. You must purchase a parking pass in advance to gain entry into the lot. Parking passes will be available for purchase at THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna for $20. Please go to playerschampionship.com for more information about the tournament, including prohibited items.

Why is this year’s THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna so special? Runners and walkers will enjoy a true behind-the-scenes 5K route through THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass mere days before the famous PLAYERS Championship tees off. Participants begin at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse and continue along the cart paths through the back nine holes, passing the world-famous island green at 17. Be the first to check out tournament venues along the route including The Benefactor, Patriots’ Outpost, and the 26.2 with Donna Courtyard where you will have exclusive hanging out rights with your 5K race shirt on Championship Sunday. Race in the footsteps of championship winners like Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and last year’s champ in an amazing playoff KJ Choi.
Course Support:
Medical support will be provided at the start/finish line by Mayo Clinic. A water stop will be located at the halfway point. Restrooms will be located throughout the course.
Timing:
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental, and will be available race morning for pickup. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip! Please use the chip provided.
Awards:
Awards will be presented to the top overall breast cancer survivor and the top overall male and female. Age group awards will then be provided to the top three in each of the following male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 & 75 and over.
Directions and Parking
Go East on JTB/202, exiting right on SR-A1A S. Turn right at PGA TOUR Blvd. Continue down passing Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa on the left. Obtain daily pass from guard gate*. Go through gate, 1/5 mile down, turn left on Championship Way.
Parking is available for all race participants and spectators in the VIP lots at TPC Sawgrass located on Champions Way.
*A daily gate pass will be included in your race packet, streamlining your entry through the security guard booth race morning. Please display the pass in your front windshield.
