7 AM- Pre- 5K Area and Packet Pick-up Opens
7:45 AM- Packet Pick-up Closes
8 AM- 5K begins
9 AM- Post 5K Celebration Begins
THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna is an event to raise funds to finish breast cancer! This inaugural event welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to experience a behind-the-scenes 5K route through the beautiful PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Participants will begin at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse and continue along the cart paths through all back nine holes, passing the world famous island green at 17. Registration for this event also includes a Grounds Ticket to attend THE PLAYERS on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Anyone attending THE PLAYERS wearing the official 5K participant tee shirt will be admitted free to the “5K with Donna Sawgrass Suite” on the 16th tee to enjoy the company and camaraderie of fellow participants.
100% of net proceeds and raised funds will go towards breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and care through the Donna Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding the needs of women with breast cancer.

Entry Fees:
$50.00 Adults
$15.00 18 and under
Registration includes a commemorative, gender-fitted t- shirt, souvenir race bib and complimentary post 5K snacks and beverages. Adult registration also includes a Grounds admission ticket to THE PLAYERS on Sunday, May 9, 2010 (a $75 face value).
Packet Pickup and Participant Information
Packet pick up will be available the morning of the run in the Pre-5K area outside of the VIP PLAYERS lots at TPC Sawgrass.
Course Amenities
Pre- 5K Area:
The Pre-5K area will be located outside of the VIP lots at TPC Sawgrass. Packet pick up available and race registration available.
Course Support:
Medical support will be provided at the start/finish line by Mayo Clinic. A water stop will be located at the halfway point. Restrooms will be located throughout the course. On-course music provided by Y? Entertainment.
Timing:
Personal timing chips will not be provided. An official time clock will be located at the start/finish line for participants to time themselves.
Post 5K Celebration:
After the 5K, participants are invited to the Post 5K Celebration which will take place on the event lawn of the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse. Beverages, snacks and entertainment will be provided. 26.2 with Donna merchandise and additional PLAYERS tickets will be available for sale. Post-race music provided by Y? Entertainment.
Directions and Parking
Go East on JTB/202, exiting right on SR-A1A S. Turn right at PGA TOUR Blvd. Continue down passing Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa on the left. Obtain daily pass from guard gate. Go through gate, 1/5 mile down, turn left on Championship Way.
Parking is available for all race participants and spectators in the VIP lots at TPC Sawgrass located on Champions Way.
