THE PLAYERS Mother’s Day 5K
THE PLAYERS and the 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer are excited to announce THE PLAYERS Mother’s Day 5K with Donna. This inaugural event welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to experience a 5K route along the beautiful Atlantic Beach coastline. Registration for this event also includes a Grounds Ticket to attend THE PLAYERS on Sunday, May 9. Anyone attending THE PLAYERS wearing the official 5K participant tee shirt will be admitted free to the “5K with Donna Sawgrass Suite” on the 16th tee to enjoy the company and camaraderie of fellow participants.
Danny Brown High School Challenge
Dan Brown, “Danny” to his friends, was a much loved and respected teacher and track coach at both Bishop Kenny and John J. Snyder High Schools in Jacksonville, Florida. He made character the cornerstone for all he did on and off the track. He loved each of the kids he coached like they were his own. He brought out the best in everyone he touched. The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer is honored to announce the Inaugural High School Challenge in honor of Danny Brown. The Danny Brown cup will be bestowed on the fasted high school relay team to enter the race.
THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna
THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna is an event to raise funds to finish breast cancer! This inaugural event welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to experience a behind-the-scenes 5K route through the beautiful PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Participants will begin at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse and continue along the cart paths through all back nine holes, passing the world famous island green at 17. Registration for this event also includes a Grounds Ticket to attend THE PLAYERS on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Anyone attending THE PLAYERS wearing the official 5K participant tee shirt will be admitted free to the “5K with Donna Sawgrass Suite” on the 16th tee to enjoy the company and camaraderie of fellow participants.

Family Fun Run
Announcing the Inaugural 26.2 with Donna Family Fun Run, now presented by Monogram Biosciences to be held race weekend on Saturday, February 20, 2010 starting at 7:00 a.m. This family friendly race is a 2.3 mile run or walk to raise funds to finish breast cancer! The course starts and finishes at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Participants will experience the best Downtown Jacksonville has to offer as they run the 2.3 mile course down Water Street over the Main Street Bridge, through the Southbank, and race across the Acosta Bridge to the finish.
Bike 26.2 with Donna
Inaugural Bike 26.2 with Donna will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Bike 26.2 with Donna presented by Mix 1 is a cycling event to raise funds to finish breast cancer! Everyone from beginners to advanced riders may participate. The 26.2 mile route begins and ends in Nocatee, where riders can enjoy wide, newly paved, tree-lined roads while cycling through one of the most beautiful backdrops Northeast Florida has to offer. Part of the course enters Ponte Vedra Beach, allowing riders to scenic views of coastal communities.
