BICYCLE SAFETY INFORMATION
Helmets are required.
A bicycle is classified as a vehicle in the state of Florida, and thus must obey the same laws and traffic rules as a motorized vehicle.
As a cyclist, you have all the rights to the roadway applicable to any driver, except as to special regulations for bicycles.
• A cyclist must ride with traffic than against it.
• Obey all traffic control signals; stop signs, traffic personnel, markings, and traffic signals. Must come to a complete stop when approaching a stop sign or light instructing you to do so.
• Yield to pedestrians at crosswalks.
• Point or signal to road debris or road hazards to other cyclists.
• When all else fails, just use good ‘ole fashion common sense.
THIS IS A CUP-FREE RACE!
Bike 26.2 with Donna invites all event participants to bring their own hydration device to the Bike ride and join us as we ride cup free, or at least cup reduced! Through this green effort, our water station will be safer, more efficient, and produce less waste from paper cups!
The water station along the route will have a HydraPour™ high speed dispenser that will rapidly fill your favorite hydration device - bottle, refillable container or HydraPouch®, in about one second. Click here to see how easy it will be to race Cup-Free in our upcoming event.
HANNA PARK SAFETY
The following items are not allowed in the park:
Alcoholic beverages
Glass containers
Balloons
Pets off leash
Grills or fire on the beach
Unlicensed or off-road vehicles
No smoking allowed in the cabins or any park buildings. No night-use of trails or dunes. Do not disturb the sand dunes, use dune crosswalks only (please avoid dune face and vegetation; sand dunes are protected habitats with poisonous snakes and cactus). Do not disturb the sea turtle nesting beach.

All things that are especially complete and entire are stamped with the number three. Similarly, the sum of all human ability is threefold - thought, word and deed. When I considered our five year Celebrate the Finish art work for 26.2 with Donna I knew it had to embody the spirit of the event and all its participants.

By Olympian Jeff Galloway, Training Director 26.2/13.1 with Donna
You don't have to run more than three days a week to prepare for 26.2/13.1 with Donna. And you don't have to exercise on the other four days each week to get across the finish line on February 12. But cross training on the non running days can improve your health, inject motivation into your life, and introduce you to other forms of exertion that can be fun.
