Bring the Family to Jacksonville Beach!
Are you looking to make a family vacation out of your trip to Jacksonville Beach for the Third Annual 26.2 with Donna? Announcing the Inaugural 26.2 with Donna Family Fun Run to be held race weekend on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Gun time is at 8:30 a.m. for a family-friendly 2.3 mile run and walk.
The 26.2 with Donna Family Fun Run is a race to raise funds to finish breast cancer! The event starts and finishes at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, home of the 26.2 with Donna Health & Fitness Expo presented by Winn Dixie.
Participants will experience the best Downtown Jacksonville has to offer as they run or walk the 2.3 mile course down Water Street over the Main Street Bridge, through the Southbank, and race across the Acosta Bridge to the finish.
Plan to celebrate at the finish line wearing your race medal! Beverages, entertainment and live music will set the mood for a great weekend. The Galloway Pep Rally starts at 10:00 a.m. inside the Prime Osborn Convention Center and hosts Donna Deegan and Jeff Galloway will get us fired up for race weekend and our efforts to FINISH breast cancer.
