Countdown to February 12, 2012:

Curb Crew Road Rules

Spirited supporters and curb crews are encouraged to join in the passion and spirit of race day once again for the Third Annual 26.2 with Donna.  Return with your pink cow bells, thunder sticks, flags and banners to cheer runners as they complete their journey to Finish Breast Cancer.

Optimal viewing areas include:

  • The Jacksonville Beach Pier
  • Seawalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza
  • Bull Memorial Park
  • Atlantic Beach Town Center

There are activities throughout the marathon weekend for runners, friends and families to enjoy together. But when the starting gun fires Sunday morning, you’ve only got a few hours to find each other along the course and at the finish line. The easiest way to guarantee you and your friends see each other is to plan ahead!

The 2010 Spectators Guide will be released next week on our website.  Leverage this guide to plan your strategies on the course, after the race, and to be mindful of runner safety.

"I (like so many) have lost friends and relatives to cancer, and feel your race is one of the most positive and poignant reminders that no one is alone in their fight. As a male runner I was also pleased to see three young ladies wearing T-shirts with ‘men get it too’ on their backs."
