2010 Race Weekend Events
The anticipation is rising in Jacksonville, Florida as we are days away from the Third Annual 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer. Street poles proudly wave our colors, cow bells and pink pom poms are making their way in to the hands of spectators, and parties are being planned to celebrate what YOU are doing to finish breast cancer.

Health & Fitness Expo presented by Winn-Dixie
Friday, February 19, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 20, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Prime Osborn Convention Center
The party begins at 11 a.m. at the Prime Osborn Convention Center with the Grand Opening of our Health & Fitness Expo. On-site registration will be available for the marathon, half-marathon and marathon relay. All registered participants will be able to pick up their packets, verify their ChampionChips, and take advantage of great deals from the many vendors who are coming to support our event. Friday’s Expo hours will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday’s Expo hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
26.2 with Donna Family Fun Run presented by Monogram Biosciences
Saturday, February 20, 7:00 a.m.
Prime Osborn Convention Center
26.2 with Donna proudly presents the Inaugural 26.2 with Donna Fun Run presented by Monogram Biosciences. This family friendly 2.3 mile event will allow everyone, including the kids, to experience the best Downtown Jacksonville has to offer. For local runners, this is a familiar weekday training course over the bridges and is a perfect way to shake off pre-race jitters.
Registration and check-in opens at 7:00 a.m. at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. The post race party begins at 9:00 a.m.

Jeff Galloway hosts the Annual National Galloway Pep Rally as a part of the Family Fun Run post race party. Join Jeff with a number of special guests including Donna Deegan to get fired up to finish breast cancer.
Molecular Markers and Management of Breast Cancer presented by Mayo School of Continuous Professional Development

Participating in 26.2 with Donna race events is not the only way we are striving to finish breast cancer race weekend. On Saturday, medical oncologists, breast surgeons, primary care physicians, nurses, PAs, and many other top minds helping treat breast disease will gather in the Prime Osborn Convention Center to learn about new advancements in breast cancer research.
This CME course presented by Mayo synthesizes the scope of breast cancer research and shows how to apply the rapid transition of new knowledge into improved care for breast cancer patients. Through lectures, case management discussions and open question and answers, expert faculty provide practical information that attendees can use in their daily practice. Pasta Dinner presented by Nektar Therapeutics

You are invited to dinner on Saturday! Bring the family and enjoy the 26.2 with Donna Pasta Party presented by Nektar Therapeutics. Tickets are $20 and children under 12 eat free! Tickets may be purchased at the door, or at the expo on Friday and Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the Donna Foundation and help FINISH BREAST CANCER!

Gun time to start the Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay events is at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. We have a lot of fun surprises for you race morning in Runner’s Village that opens at 4:00 a.m. Please read the important information in this newsletter about race day transportation and race day services so that you don’t miss out on any of the fun.
